HP Mirror/UX is a software mirroring solution designed to provide a bit-to-bit mirror at the logical volumes level. It does not mirror at the hardware disk level.
Allegro’s service of HP Mirror UX Service includes the installation of the Mirror/UX product, if not installed, and configuration of mirrors. Optional tasks include creating a boot disk to be used as a mirror, and mirror the filesystems and test the new mirror.

Service for HP-UX Virtual Partitions and Virtual Machines
HP’s Virtual Partitions (VPar) and Virtual Machine (HPVM) technologies are different ways to create virtual systems. VPars and HPVM have a similar end result but the architecture between the two are vastly different. VPars uses a monitor approach, where a monitor kernel is loaded and from there the virtual partitions are created/booted. The HPVM has a host based approach where the host OS (HP-UX) is loaded/booted and then virtual guests are booted within the host OS.
Allegro’s Service for HP VPars/HPVM is to install VPar or HPVM software and configure VPars or HPVM hosts. Optional tasks are to design, implement and build the entire virtual environment.
