RAMUSAGE is a program that reports how your system's memory is being used. RAMUSAGE uses a small amount of privileged mode code to access (READ only) a few system tables. RAMUSAGE should be unaffected by most changes in new releases of MPE/iX. Nonetheless, it checks for MPE/iX compatibility in a very conservative manner. If RAMUSAGE detects an unknown version of MPE/iX, it will report the version number and terminate. If you decide that you want it to run anyway, do the following: SETJCW LPSMPEOK 1 (or 3) RUN RAMUSAGE SETJCW LPSMPEOK 0 A value of 1 in LPSMPEOK tells RAMUSAGE that it should announce MPE/iX version mismatches and then continue to run. A value of 3 will suppress the announcements. The report from RAMUSAGE is a small subset of the data provided by PAGES, one of the utilities in the Toolboxes from Lund Performance Solutions.
