MeCons 20140827 Copyright (c) 1993 Allegro Consultants, Inc. Author: Stan Sieler (sieler@gmail.com) MeCons is a simple privileged program that makes the current terminal (or a specified one) the system console. If run with no parameters, it makes the current user's terminal the system console. If run with a positive PARM value, MeCons will move the console to the specified ldev. Examples: run MeCons Makes the logon terminal the system console run MeCons; parm=20 Makes the ldev 20 the system console Note: The CM MeCons checks that the ldev looks reasonable (2..255) The NM MeCons checks that the ldev is really a terminal. NOTE: It is up to the user to ensure that the console is moved back at a later time!
